Joshua 15:17-19

¹⁷ Othniel son of Kenaz defeated the city. So Caleb gave his daughter Acsah to Othniel to be his wife. ¹⁸ Acsah wanted Othniel to ask her father Caleb for more land.

So Acsah went to her father. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What do you want?”

¹⁹ Acsah answered, “I would like a special favor. The land you gave me is very dry. So also give me land with springs of water on it.”

So Caleb gave her land with springs of water on the upper and lower part of it.
